" Why do the good die young while the wicked live on and on?"

Hey peeps. So today things are going to be a bit more serious and deep, like Atlantic ocean deep. I must also warn you that at times on here I will get theological on you guys and this is one of those times. So I was reading Ecclesiastes and few weeks ago and one verse really caught my eye, Ecclesiastes 7:15, "I have seen everything in this meaningless life, including the death of good young people and the long life of wicked people".This caught my eye because in movies, books, and TV people are always asking, "Why do the good die young while the bad guys live long lives?". Here is where I'm going to get theological. See, God has a plan for each and every person. I  think that sometimes when a person dies young, it is because they completed what it was that God wanted them to do. The other part of this is that the young person may have a relationship with God, and He knows that child will go astray one day so God decides to have them go home to Him in heaven before the  person can go astray. He doesn't want sin to separate Him from His children forever, even after the person completes what God wanted them to. This may be why good people die young so often.
I'm definitely not saying that all good and Godly people die young. Many people of faith will live long lives, and they may because God knows they won't be taken over by sin and live of the world. He also has these people live long lives because God wants them to continue to testify to non-believers and to continue to bring people to Christ. These Christians who do live long lives, live long because God isn't done with them yet. They haven't completed the mission that God put them on earth to do. The good may also die young because what they did while they were alive may be an example to other people. This is what happened with Rachel Scott.
On the other side of this coin is why the bad and corrupt seem to live long lives. This may be because these people don't know Christ yet. Every new day that God gives these people is another second chance for these people to come to Christ and to start a relationship with God. I'm not saying all people who live long lives are evil, wicked, or corrupt. There are so many people who are older that are sweet and nice and caring people, but they may not know Christ of have a relationship with God yet. God wants to spend all of eternity with His children, that's why the bad and wicked seem to live long lives.

Drama

Hey peeps! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, things have been kind of crazy here for me. What to talk about today? How about drama. It is something all of us teens deal with almost everyday in high school, and I don't know about you but I can't stand drama. Here's the thing Galatians 5:15 says "But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another". If this isn't warning enough I don't know what is. It's basically saying if you decide to take on a piece of the drama, you will be taken over by it. Trust me when I say this. I see kids everyday getting involved in drama and then they end up so deep in it they can't get out of it. Personally I stay out of drama to make my life less complicated, and it seems to work. If you are caught up in drama with people and want a way, pray and ask God to help you get out of the drama or to show you a way out. It will be one of the best things you will ever do.

Prayer

Hey hey my peeps! This morning I want talk to you guys about something very near and dear to my heart today. That would be prayer. Prayer is one of the most important parts of our faith, it's how we communicate with God. Praying to God and talking to Him is the same thing as calling your mom or dad on the telephone when they are far away, or texting even texting them. Prayer is so important in our lives because that is one of the only ways to get in touch with God.
One thing I really enjoy about prayer is that I know God listens to me when I pray. When I talk to other people it doesn't always seem like they are listening, or I end up doing all the listening. It's not that way with God. He does all the listening while you can talk about everything and anything. God already knows everything about you, so He will understand you and what you are going through, He will never make fun of you or tell you to stop talking. That's not Him. Psalm 145:18 says quite simply, " The Lord is near to all them that call on Him, to all that call on Him in truth". Guys, God is always near with open ears to listen to you whine, cry, talk about our day, your joys, your concerns, and anything else you have to say. All you have to do is start praying. You don't have to think of it as praying. You can think of it as a conversation with God instead. All He wants is for you to talk to Him.

Another Kind of Love

Hey peeps! What's today's topic? LOVE! I love love to be quite honest. I'm not into that mushy, gushy, kissy couple love. What I'm talking about is the love of God. By this I mean, I mean you loving Him, and Him loving you. I know that as teenagers with all our crazy teenager hormones, you really want a relationship with a person, like having a boyfriend or girlfriend. Today it seems like people think they NEED a boyfriend or a girlfriend. I'm here to give you  reality check and tell you that you are wrong if you think that. The only kind of relationship and love you NEED, besides your parents, is God's love. His love is a special kind of love. It's the kind of love where He will never love you any less or stop loving you because of something you did. No matter how bad you screw up or mess up He will always love you. If you fight with a boyfriend or girlfriend their feelings may change, and the same about you. If you get upset with your significant other and ignore them, it could drastically change your relationship. It's a whole different story with God. If you go astray and ignore Him for weeks, months, or even years, you can go back to Him at anytime and none of His love for you will have changed or lessened. His love for you is perfect in every way. He loves you at your lowest and at your highest. Can you honestly say that about any other relationship you have? If God didn't love us, why would He send his only Son to us to die on the cross and save us from our sins. Jesus was God's only truly perfect child. Would you send your child, perfect or not, to die to make up for the wrong doings of another person or people? This just proves how much God loves us. Ephesians 2:4-5 has backed this up. It says "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved". So the next time you think about how much you NEED a boyfriend or girlfriend, think about the love you are already getting from God, and that nothing can ever match that love.

Just Rely On God.

Good morning peeps!I know it's getting close to the end of the school year for most or all of you, and I also know that many of you are probably at that point where you are just trying to skate by and just get everything done. That you have basically given up. Trust me, I'm itching to get school finished to. If you're at the "I've given up and just want this to end I don't care if I pass or fail at this point" then this is something you need to hear, well technically read. You can get through this and end successfully and prosperous. When you feel burnt-out or you feel like giving up, rely on the Lord and ask Him for the strength and drive to get you through this. YOU CAN DO THIS. If you don't believe me then just read Isaiah 40:10 "fear not, for I am with you;  be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" which is basically saying what I've been saying this whole time. God is a whole heck of a lot bigger than all your problems. Rely on Him and His strength and you can get through anything. Even the end of the year.

Let Your Christian Flag Fly!

Hey guys! So I know that today it's seems really difficult to be open about your faith. You don't want to upset or offend people, and you may not want to be picked on. It's going to be okay! Colossians 1:23 says "if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.". God is on your side. Don't be afraid  to let your Christian flag fly. If the friends you have don't accept who you are because of what you believe, then are they really your friends? You should be open with your faith and spread  the gospel. By doing this you may dramatically change someone's life. Is there anything better than that? I pray that you who are reading this will take strength in what I say, and let your Christian flags fly, and that they fly high! May God bless each of you readers and do something special with your life!
